Freezing your Virtual Dollar Card stops it from making payments until you unfreeze it. You can freeze and unfreeze your card yourself in the app.
How to freeze your card
Open the Cardtonic app and tap “Virtual Dollar Card”.
Select the card.
Tap “More”, then “Freeze Card”.
Tap “Freeze card” to confirm.
How to unfreeze your card
Select the card and tap “More”.
Tap “Unfreeze Card”.
While your card is frozen
Payments on the card are declined.
You can’t fund the card or withdraw from it. Unfreeze it first.
Your card balance stays on the card.
Please note: Freezing does not stop merchants from trying to charge your card. Each declined attempt on a frozen card may attract a $0.50 charge and counts toward card termination.

Card frozen by our team
If our support team froze your card, you can’t unfreeze it yourself. Contact support via in-app chat to resolve it.
