You can move money from your Virtual Dollar Card back to your Cardtonic Wallet.
Steps
Open the Cardtonic app and tap “Virtual Dollar Card”.
Select the card you want to withdraw from.
Tap “Withdraw”.
Choose the wallet that will receive the money.
Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
Check the fee, “Total to be deducted” and “You will get”.
Tap “Withdraw”, then tap “Continue” to confirm.
Things to know
Fee: $1 per withdrawal.
Minimum withdrawal: $2.
After a withdrawal, at least $1 of your own money must stay on your card to keep it active for future payments, so you can’t withdraw your full balance. If you later terminate the card, this $1 is not credited to your wallet.
The money goes to the wallet you chose, at the exchange rate shown before you confirm.
You can’t withdraw from a frozen card. Unfreeze it first.
How long does it take?
Your withdrawal starts as soon as you confirm. The money reaches your wallet once the withdrawal is confirmed. If it is not confirmed, it can stay pending for up to 7 days while we check it. If the withdrawal fails, the money stays on your card.
Please note: The app may show “Successful” as soon as you confirm. This means your request was accepted. Check your wallet’s transaction history to see when the money arrives.
Don’t need the card any more?
You can terminate the card instead to avoid the withdrawal fee. Balances of $1.10 or more are credited to your wallet, but balances under $1.10 are not. See: My card was terminated. What happens to my balance?
Contact support via in-app chat if your withdrawal is still pending after 7 days.
