A gift card that has not been activated has no value and cannot be traded or redeemed.
Physical gift cards are activated at the point of purchase in-store. Ecodes are activated automatically after purchase online. If a card was not bought through the correct channel or was not activated properly, it will not work.
To resolve this, return to the store where the card was purchased and report the issue. The store is responsible for activation.
