What is the difference between horizontal and vertical Apple/iTunes cards?

Learn the difference between horizontal and vertical Apple/iTunes gift cards and how it affects your rate.

Apple/iTunes physical gift cards come in two appearances, each with a different rate on Cardtonic.

Horizontal cards:

These are the standard format, wider than they are tall, similar in shape to a typical debit or credit card. Card details are printed on the back. These have higher demand and fetch the best rate.

Vertical cards:

These are taller than they are wide, similar in shape to a strip of receipt paper standing upright. They have lower demand, which means they carry a lower rate.

Please note: This distinction applies to physical cards only. If you are trading an ecode, this does not apply.
