Here are answers to common questions about setting up and managing your Cardtonic account.
Is my phone supported?
The Cardtonic app is available for all Android and iPhone users.
Which is better, the app or website?
Both offer the same features. Use whichever is most convenient for you.
Is my money safe?
Yes. Do not share your password, enable biometrics, and activate 2FA for withdrawals. See: How do I manage Cardtonic two-factor authentication (2FA)?
What if I delete the app?
Your funds and account data are unaffected. Reinstall and log in to restore full access.
Why was my account suspended?
Accounts are suspended for submitting more than 5 empty trades or already-used cards within 30 minutes, or for flooding the trading system. Contact support via in-app chat to reactivate.
I am unable to log in. What do I do?
Check the following:
Correct email and password entered
App is updated to the latest version
Account is still active

How do I reset my password?
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it.
How do I verify my email?
Check your inbox for a verification email from Cardtonic and click the link. Check spam if it did not arrive. Contact support if you still cannot find it.
How do I add or edit my phone number or date of birth?
Go to "Settings", then "Profile", make your changes, and tap "Save Changes".
Once your date of birth is saved, it cannot be changed.
What happens if I upload a trade in the wrong category?
Your trade will be processed at the correct category rate. Contact support via in-app chat before it is reviewed if you need it corrected.
How do I upload multiple images for a trade?
Up to 30 images can be uploaded at once. On iPhone and web, select images and tap "Done". On Android, hold down the first image to mark it, then select the rest.
What is transaction rating?
After every completed transaction, you can rate your experience using emojis and add a note. Your feedback helps us serve you better.
